Ice cream competition

I signed up for a local homemade ice cream competition, the 2nd annual competition held by Fort Bend County Libraries. I wanted to see how my ice cream would stack up against others, but mainly wanted to share what I think is some pretty good ice cream.

The sign is hard to read but the competition was scheduled for 2 - 3:30 p.m.

I chose a flavor that I thought would represent summertime in Texas and one that would appease the general population, butter pecan. But my demographic (competition held in Sugar Land) was mainly Indian. Of the 12 competitors, there were four mango flavors and two Indian dessert flavors. I had no chance of winning. But the experience was fun and eye opening.

The moment I ran out of ice cream (2:30 p.m.) and there's still a large crowd.
