Turtle power!

This year we dressed up as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (and Shredder). I loved watching the cartoon during my childhood and now with the updated Nickelodeon series, the kids can enjoy them too. The new series is surprisingly entertaining and funny, especially when they incorporate anime facial expressions. And I don't mind letting them have their TV time because secretly, I want to watch it too.

Here are some of our spooooky decorations. Of course, you can't dress up as TMNT without a TMNT jack o'lantern.

So as the sun came down, we started trick-or-treating and at the very first house we went to, Tyson got some Junior Mints (see below). From that moment on, he never let go of that box. Never. He had a death grip on it. He didn't care for any other candies that were filling up his basket. As soon as we got back, I couldn't stall any longer and let my little man enjoy his tiny box of Junior Mints.
