Back in college (when I thought I knew everything), I was pretty sure of what exercise and fitness should look like. I would run an arbitrary number of laps around Gregory Gym. I would do bicep curls with one 10 pound dumbbell (because that's all I had). I would frequently do sessions of 8 minute abs because I wanted six pack abs. 😑

Our first (and last) daughter has arrived! Elliot's delivery seemed like the easiest delivery, well from my perspective. We were at the hospital at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, popped a baby out at 3:13 p.m. and were going home on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. In and out. Lynn is THE expert at delivering a baby.

Baby #4 is coming sooner than later and now comes the fun part, naming this baby girl. The good thing is that it's much easier to come up with names for girls than it is for boys. But that can also be a bad thing. Which one do we choose? There were plenty of good names out there but few have that pizazz. That something that sets it apart. And as I've previously mentioned, the names should also follow a set of rules. But rules are meant to be broken.

That's the question we've been asked frequently and not until recently, we didn't know either. Being that this is our last baby (no lie), why not make it a surprise? We'll find out on the day of delivery. Surprise! But the more that I thought about, the more I needed to know. What if I react negatively when the baby is born? "Ugh! Another boy??" What should we do with all the baby boy clothes? Keep it or donate it? What are we going to name this baby? I don't want to waste any more time thinking of both boy and girl names. I need time to prepare for baby #4.

First of all, happy birthday to my dad who turned... hmmm... I'm not sure. I can't ever seem to keep track of his real age or his younger legal age. But I do know that he's old. Anyway, we took him out to eat (at an Asian restaurant of course) and each got a fortune cookie at the end of our meal. And if you are the superstitious type and believer of psychics and fortune tellers (and cookies), then we are definitely having another baby.

No, we're not having another baby. No. The thought of having another baby is ridiculous. It's a life changer. We would need a bigger car to fit six people. And no, we would never ever get a minivan. We would need a bigger house. What little free time we have to ourselves would cease to exist. The answer to "Are you guys going to have another?" was an emphatic "No." Without hesitation. But just recently, I may have a change of heart.

The wait is over. Tyson has finally arrived. He came in at 6 lbs, 7 oz (biggest of the three boys). From my perspective, this delivery seemed the easiest but Lynn may disagree. I thought it went really smooth. One of the nurses said Lynn was a "super ninja", whatever that means but I took it as a compliment. There were no major issues with baby or mom. We could have probably gone home after the first night but unfortunately we had to stay the standard three days postpartum.

I'm not talking about a hurricane but the pending arrival of baby #3. At this point we're ready... the crib is setup, old baby clothes are out of storage, and all the bottles are washed and ready. The only thing left to do is wait. Waiting is probably the worst part. It's the not knowing that kills me. Not knowing when he's coming. Not knowing how he's going to be as a baby. He can be difficult and colicky like Jacob or super easy and sleeping through the night by day two like Andrew. So many unknowns. I'm excited yet very anxious.

We're counting down the days and the one thing I keep wondering is, what will baby #3 look like? Jacob and Andrew look nothing alike so will this newborn look more like one of his siblings or have a totally different look? So I turned to the internet in hopes of answering this question.

It's almost time to meet baby #3 (a month away) and we need to come up with a name. Honestly we haven't put much thought into it. Maybe it's because of the fact that it's our third child, a third boy. We're running out of boy names here.
A name is a big deal since you're stuck with it for the rest of your life, or until you're old enough to go to the courthouse and change it to something like Ochocinco. I'm not a fan of my own name. I don't like saying it. I don't like the way it sounds. But it's my name and I've learn to live with it. So when picking a name for my own child, I want to make sure it's a name that he will like and most importantly, meet most (if not all) of my criteria for a name.

It's going to be a boy, once again. The pencil test has failed for the first time in recorded history. Well maybe I'm exaggerating a bit but I've never seen the pencil test fail before. This was God's message saying don't believe in a damn pencil.
This changes everything. For sure I thought this was going to be a girl. Lynn's pregnancy was totally different this time around and the pencil supposedly confirmed it. Do we go for a fourth and try for a girl? Could we handle that? What if the fourth is another boy? Damn my sperm and the fast swimming Y chromosome ones! The toughest question at the moment is what to name this boy who's currently the size of a key lime. There are no good boy names out there. If all else fails, I'm naming him Jimmy Junior.

Hi, I make sweet treats.
