My dad's birthday dinner predicts a fourth baby

First of all, happy birthday to my dad who turned... hmmm... I'm not sure. I can't ever seem to keep track of his real age or his younger legal age. But I do know that he's old. Anyway, we took him out to eat (at an Asian restaurant of course) and each got a fortune cookie at the end of our meal. And if you are the superstitious type and believer of psychics and fortune tellers (and cookies), then we are definitely having another baby.

Me: An unexpected event will soon make your life more exciting.
Having another baby is definitely an unexpected event.

Lynn: Be generous and the favor will be returned.
Be generous and you will get that girl you always wanted.

Jacob: An airplane ride is soon in your future sending you to fun!
We're flying to California next month. How did a fortune cookie know this? This is getting creepy.

Andrew: Be patient. Good things come to those who wait.
Be patient and a baby will come into our lives, i.e. someone else for Tyson to terrorize.

Tyson: A short stranger will soon enter your life with blessings to share.
There's no one else shorter than him except a newborn baby.
(He got two fortunes because he's still the baby. But not for long!)

No No. We're not having another baby unless it's accidental. But given our history (see the name of this blog), it's not entirely impossible.

This post is just to document, in that rare chance we did have another, that it was predicted on this day.

Now that's a story to tell the fourth child...

"You were conceived in a tree house."
