Full tuition

Four year scholarship!

Jacob was awarded a four year, full tuition scholarship from Houston Christian University (formerly Houston Baptist University). 

But the requirement is that he choose one of only six eligible majors: computer science, cyber engineering, cybersecurity, electrical engineering, information systems, mathematics

I don't think his heart is with any of those choices. He would settle for one.

What to do? It's free college education. He would be living at home which would save money on room and board. But is it all about money? I'd also like him to experience life away from home, without us parents. But would he be ready for that? I don't know. Ultimately, it'll be up to him to decide.
