10 year anniversary (Waco, TX)

Ten years. It's been a decade since we each said, "I do." Like the song says, "First comes love. Then comes marriage. Then comes baby in a baby carriage." And plenty of babies we had (four kids, if you didn't already know) so it wasn't possible to do anything "big" to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We decided on a quick weekend getaway to Waco to do all things Magnolia (Magnolia Table, Magnolia Market, Silos Baking Company). But even a short trip without the kids was difficult because we are forever busy. We had to call in the reinforcements... but I'll get to that later.

To make this trip possible, we needed the help of our family and friends.

Logistics of the three boys:

• Emily (family friend) picked up Andrew and Tyson from school
• My mom picked up Jacob from school
• My mom picked up Andrew and Tyson from Emily's house
• Boys slept over at my parent's house on Friday night
• My mom dropped off Andrew to his soccer tournament
• Scott (dad of Andrew's teammate) took care of Andrew on Saturday
• My mom dropped off and picked up Jacob for volunteer work
• My mom dropped off Jacob and Tyson with Julie (sister-in-law)
• Dat (brother-in-law) picked up Andrew from Scott's house
• Boys slept over at Julie's house on Saturday night
• Julie dropped off the boys at my mother-in-law's house
• Julie dropped off Jacob at a friend's birthday party
