Playing together

Brothers playing on the same team.

At the start of the new fall soccer season, we had Andrew (2007) play up and join Jacob's team (2006). Andrew, who's currently 12 years old, would be playing against 13 and 14 year old kids, i.e. bigger kids. We did this to make our lives easier. Last season each kid would have their own practices and games, so us parents would always be split up... constantly playing chauffeur. Almost every day would be spent at the soccer fields, if not for one kid then the other. It got really busy and that's for only two kids! We still have two more little kids to tend to so this move was a no brainer.

I think Andrew would rather play with his former teammates and kids his age. But he understands our situation. Maybe this will only be a one year trial. We'll see.
