Add CommentAh...awesome memories of tank battle! So, what's wrong with the pool...was thinking about getting a temp pool for the summer. Looks like the kids like it.
That's exactly what it is, a temp pool. The first pool we bought only lasted two summers. It sprung a lot of leaks, algae grew wild and the water got super cloudy/dirty... the filter was useless. It was a headache so I just threw it away. Then I bought another one because the kids really like it. :(
Yeah, looked into building a pool - too much $$ for me. I'll take a temp pool for one summer for .001% of the cost.
Jimmy, forgot to ask if you like the inflatable one better or the metal frame one? or has both of your been the inflatable kind?
It's always been the inflatable Intex pool, 15 ft diameter. Super simple setup. The metal frame ones seem semi-permanent, semi-serious... you may as well splurge for a real pool. ;)
