A night away from the kiddos. |
get·a·way (ˈɡedəˌwā) an escape or quick departure, especially after committing a crime.
We didn't commit a crime but we took a quick getaway. Speaking for myself, I definitely needed an escape from the kids. When spending so much of your time and effort towards the kids, sometimes you need time for yourself/ourselves. This time around, we stayed in town while the kids stayed at home.
Our first stop was to (chaotic) The Nutcracker Market. |
Our home for the night. |
Dinner at Hopdoddy. |
Pottery class at Smashed Clay Co. |
Lynn did well while I struggled a bit. |
Picked up a sweet treat at SWEET. |
Finished off with late night ice cream at Jeni's. |
Our view the next morning. |
