Quick getaway to New Orleans and the obligatory visit to Cafe Du Monde.

Picked up random stuff at the local grocery store Rouses. The branding got me.

And now it's time to rant. It took eight hours to get to New Orleans. There were so many hiccups on the way there...

Stopped outside Lake Charles to recharge (car and food) but the store was closed.

Stopped in Lafayette to finally get lunch but Chick-fil-A was closed so we settled for McDonald's. It took nearly forty minutes to get our food.

Accident in Baton Rouge closed I-10 so we were rerouted around the city (along with everyone else).
