Christmas wish list

Christmas is just around the corner and it's time to shop for those gifts. We asked the kids what they would want for Christmas but they had no clue. Off the top of their heads, they couldn't come up with anything. I figured that they needed to visually see everything so we had them look through various store ads and toy catalogs to compile their Christmas wish list.

If Jacob had the slightest interest in something he saw, he would cut it out. For sure he's not getting any kind of car track. It's such a space killer and never seems to ever stay intact. And no more cars, they both have plenty. No Nerf guns. The last thing we need to do is clean up little foam darts around the house. And I'm not buying a boat that he may or may not play with for $40. It's too expensive to find out. So going by this list, that doesn't leave much. Eh, I'll figure something out.

Again with the car tracks so that's an automatic no. Same goes with anything controlled with a remote. Transformers are banned until they are old enough to transform it themselves. (I'm not making that mistake again.) Andrew would be happy with anything Cars 2. Heck, he would be happy with a big, empty cardboard box so I'm not too worried about his gift.

Baby Ty is still well, a baby. I don't think he will dislike anything we give him, not like he can really tell us.

As for me, I want the "I am T-Pain mic". I want the smooth, angelic voice of T-Pain. Wait, you mean to tell me that's not his real voice? Auto-tune? What? I'm devastated.

No but seriously, the only thing I want is for baby Ty to get well. It's now Day 11 of his mysterious illness and although it's getting better, it's still days (if not weeks) until everything clears up. I'm glad that his elevated temperature has finally subsided but dealing with the increased fussiness is draining. Tyson needs to get better so that we can take a picture for our Christmas card. Or maybe I'll just photoshop a healthy baby Ty into the family picture.

Yeah.... let's not do that. People tend to forget about the parents when it comes to the kid's gifts.
