40 days and 40 nights

It's that time again. It's time to abstain from eating meat on Fridays, better known as Lent. Why do so many Catholics freak out on Fridays because of this dietary limitation? I don't know but it's easy to go meatless. Besides, it's only for one day a week.

But if you're not prepared for it (like me), you could be in trouble. Here are some fast, meatless food options:

Jack in the Box fish and chips.

Anything from here.

Cheese pizza. The brand/quality is totally up to you.

Ramen.

Eggs. Can be prepared so many ways: hard boiled, scrambled, fried, egg salad, sandwich, fried rice, etc.

And the absolute last option. The "I'm so hungry I'll eat anything"meatless food option. McDonald's Filet-O-Fish. (Yes, it's still weird to eat a fish sandwich with cheese.)

Double Filet-O-Fish. Double NO.

What do you eat on Fridays? What are your go-to foods when going meatless?

and of course... some fridays people eat lobster, crab, crawfish, oyster's etc etc... which is insane how lenient lent actually is... of course, the idea isn't to feast on seafood during Friday's but it is still legit if you did

Haha yeah. Whoever is eating lobster during Lent seems to be missing the point of Lent... unless they gave up eating cheap, low quality food.

Are you absolutely sure? But it's not "real" beef, just beef flavoring. And I thought you could get away with eating meatless pho, even though it's derived from real beef bones.

I don't know, ask your mom. But try not to get me in trouble with her.
