Happy birthday Daniel

Daniel, my nephew/godson, recently turned 2. He's quite destructive and there have been times when I would come home to fine things destroyed, which I have wrongfully accused Andrew of doing but only to find out it was Daniel. It's funny but I would ask Lynn who did it and she would respond "Your godson did it", at which point my anger would subside. If she had said "Daniel did it", I would probably stay mad but saying "your godson" makes it okay. I think Lynn is a Jedi master, using psychological tactics on me. But all is forgiven as there is something called unconditional love and I will treat him and Reed (my other nephew/godson) just like one of my own. Can you imagine what would happen if we ever got a girl in the family? She could probably get away with murder.

Happy birthday little man.

Awesome hair.

Remember when we were younger...talking about the future. Who would've *thunk*...you'd be dad/god-dad to 4 going on 5? Way to go Jimmy. It's quite a feat! =)

Actually I'd like to know what we talked about when we were kids, my memory is terrible (hence this blog and documenting my life) but email me or something because I'm scared of what I may have said.

Apparently we had a lot of these talks. I remember David's speech at our wedding and we had some deep conversations about the future. Why were we so serious back then?

We were serious, weren't we! haha. I think David did a good job summarizing childhood memories during his toast at your wedding. I think I shed a tear or two during it. :)

that was such a sweet post! Daniel is destructive. Please don't get mad at your boys for his actions especially for those peeled water bottle labels. I don't know when he gets to them, but they are almost always done by your godson. Thanks for all you and Lynn have done and given to my boys.
